Prayer Request - Stephanie

A friend of mine forwarded me this email. It's amazing how many times situations like mine happen. It's one of those things that you know happens, but until it happens to someone you know, or you, you just have a slight awareness of. Now every time an incident like mine is on the news, it jumps out at me. And it's sad how many times that has happened since it happened to me... Please keep this girl in your prayers - her ordeal was more horrendous than mine was, and I know for a fact that prayer works... This broke my heart when I received it...

To all:
Over the weekend our neighbor across the street, their teenage daughter was raped and held hostage in her car for 18 hours. On Friday afternoon Stephanie was coming home from the local Cy-Fair College on Baker Cypress. She stopped off at Wal-Mart on 529 and Highway 6. As she was getting out of her car a man forced her back in her car. For the next 18 hours she was brutally raped and held hostage. She was later left at Barker Cypress and 290 area in her car. She is very lucky to be alive and is at home recovering at the moment. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
